Ready to Win® 2020 Application
Application Deadline: April 6
Training Dates (webinars): April 18-19, from 12:00-3:00 PM EST on both dates.
We’ve all been flexing our leadership skills lately by adapting to the coronavirus outbreak. For New American Leaders, that means adapting Ready to Win®, one of our signature trainings, and turning it into an online program. This immersive campaign training is exclusively for leaders who are seeking to either run for office or work on a campaign team within one to two years and who identify as a first or second generation immigrant.
Our team of trainers will include seasoned campaign professionals, top consultants, and #NALpistas from across the country who have run for office and won.
We’ve taken a look at our curriculum and taken the essential tools for winning campaigns and will offer materials for you to review at your leisure in the weeks leading up to April 18th. The topics will be:
1. Winning Campaigns
2. Values-Based Messaging
4. Campaign Budgets.
Once you view the curriculum, we invite you to continue with your campaign learning by joining us for live webinars on Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th. During the webinars you will:
- Pair up with a fellow participant to share your top takeaways
- Participate in group work
- Have a chance to ask your questions to our team of nationally renowned facilitators on the video module topics.
Those who view all modules and participate in the live webinars will:
- Become an official #NALpista!
- Be fast-tracked into our 2021 Ready to Win® session, where they will complete a campaign simulation and spend 3 days with their peers from across the country.
Please note that if you have attended Ready to Win® in the past, you are not eligible to apply again.
Read more about Ready to Win® and what to expect on our website.
Ready to Win® is scheduled from April 18-19, 2020, from 12:00-3:00 PM EST on both dates. Your full participation is required to be accepted. NAL cannot accommodate any conflicts with these dates. If a conflict arises that does not allow you to be present for the live webinars, you will no longer be able to participate.
Registration is required upon being accepted. Since we have had to adjust our training due to these unprecedented times, we are waiving the registration fee for participants.
*Due to legal restrictions, declared candidates must still pay a registration fee of $20 to attend the training.
